Jesse Allen Crow, 15, who forced several schools into their "secure status" after he brought knives and blades will face multiple weapon charges after the sheriff's office consulted with the Frederick County State's Attorney's Office.
On Thursday, May 4, Crow, who was reported missing out of Pennsylvania, got onto a bus and showed several students large knives that were in sheaths, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
He got off the bus at Middletown High School and walked away from the building, though investigators initially recovered the backpack and leather jacket.
Inside the backpack were:
- Five knives;
- Four fixed blades;
- One pocketknife;
- Multiple CO2 cartridges.
Crow remained missing for several hours before he was ultimately located with a second pocketknife on him.
After the consultation, the sheriff's office announced that Crow was charged with four counts of dangerous weapons on school property for the fixed blades, and one count of disturbing school operations.
The incident led to an increased police presence in Middletown, with extra deputies and School Resource Officers prepared to go on duty at dismissal
